When you click the "Download All Songs Now" button to download your entire order, you initiate a process that downloads each song and its license to your computer. The license file contains information that allows Windows Media Player to determine the usage rights associated with a song and to decrypt the song so you can play it, transfer it to a portable device or burn it to a CD.
When you click the "Download Songs Individually" button, you initially download only the song file to your computer. You must then acquire the song license before you can transfer it to a portable device or burn it to a CD.
To obtain the license file, you must first play the song while connected to the Internet. This allows Windows Media Player 9 to retrieve the license, which decrypts the song file and contains information about the usage rights associated with a song.
If for some reason your download is interrupted or a song does not download completely, you may download it again. Each Walmart.com song file can be downloaded to the same computer a total of 3 times. If you exceed the maximum number of downloads, you will need to contact one of our Customer Service associates by sending an email to musicdownloads@walmart.com, or by calling 1-800-222-8132, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, who will determine if it is possible to restore the song file.
Just click the "Download All Songs Now" button after you complete your order to download all the songs that were in your order.
Just click the "Download Songs Individually" button after you complete your order. This will take you to your "My Purchased Music" page, where all the songs you have not downloaded will appear with a "Download Now" button next to them. Click the "Download Now" button, click "Save" (not "Open") to save the song to your computer, and follow the instructions on the screens to download and play your song.
