Originating from Russia, Mp3Search.ru offers a broad music selection and lives up to its name by providing one of the widest varieties of search capabilities we've seen. But Mp3Search.ru lags behind premium music download sites due to its lack of features and its almost non-existent help support.

Mp3Search.ru continually updates their music selection, providing you with a generous selection of both albums and tracks for download. Mp3Search.ru also offers download extras, like ringtones, to give you even more selection.

Search Capablities:  

Mp3Search.ru lets you search in just about every way imaginable. Whether you know your selection by artist or soundtrack, your next download is literally a click away.

Feature Set*:  

Mp3Search.ru doesn't offer many of the features found on the higher-rated services we reviewed. Although it does include some of the more important features, like song preview and ability to copy to a CD, it doesn't allow you to look up a library of tracks for a particular artist or band and there is limited information provided for each artist or album featured on the site.

Download/Setup:  

Downloading a song with Mp3Search.ru is very simple. To use the service, you must first register and, if you want to download songs, Mp3Search.ru requires payment before any download can take place.

We found the quality of this service's downloads to be equal to that of a new CD, but due to the fact that it uses mp3 formats, Mp3Search.ru's downloads take a little longer than other services we've reviewed.

Summary:  

Mp3Search.ru offers support by email, but it ends there. There is no FAQs page, support telephone number or even an online tutorial to help you understand how to best use the site. If you need help from this site, the only option is to wait for a response by email.
